With a background in Broadway, entertainment, and corporate marketing David Barry has worked with some of the largest theatrical productions in the world. He has guided the successful marketing and PR campaigns for shows such as WICKED, Disney’s THE LION KING, and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. As a Public Relations Director he has the privilege of working with celebrities such as Bill Cosby, Lorraine Bracco, Molly Ringwald, David Copperfield, Lou Diamond Phillips, Taylor Hicks, Ann-Margaret, Eartha Kitt, and more. In addition to Broadway shows he has served as the publicist for the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival where he worked with festival founder Alan Hunter and Academy Award winning filmmakers.

David also has a background in the Christian Music industry and has worked with artists such Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, the late Rich Mullins, Lenny Leblanc, Kent Henry, and Mylon and Broken Heart. His knowledge of the industry and contacts with local Christian radio leaders only serves to increase his value to promoting your next concert or event.

David is also an avid runner, amateur foodie, and wine connoisseur. In the recent years he has taken his passion for running and turned it into PR opportunities. Having worked with Run University and the Birmingham Track Club he has done marketing work with The Vulcan Run, one of the south’s largest 10K races and help Run University grow into Birmingham’s most successful training program for runners.

David has the unique ability create more than an awareness of products and events; he can create a call to action that delivers results. His common sense approach to defining and reaching a targeted audience has made him very successful.
